Cindy Sheehan Shouts Down Emanuel
Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel was all set to announce Congressional Democratic ideas on ethics reform. I know, snooze…. Banning gifts from lobbyists usually makes for boring news, but then along came Cindy Sheehan and other anti-war zealots shouting, “De-escalate, investigate, troops home now!” Emanuel gave up trying to speak over them and scurried away. Hot Air has the video of Emanuel scared away only to be replaced with Sheehan.
Speaker-to-be Pelosi and her gang must be hoping this isn’t a sign of things to come. Their Republican opponents are trying to get their act together. The Democrats don’t want to have to spend time dealing with cranks like Sheehan.
