At the smoking crater…
Curtis and Assad/Bashir really don’t like each other.
President Wayne wants Jack to run the show. Jack isn’t sure he’s up to it, but accepts his duty.
Curtis wonders what the Chinese did to Jack. Questions his judgement. How dare he!?!
Jack already has speed dial into Chloe. Has his priorities straight. He wants info on any Curtis-Assad connection.
At terrorist HQ…
Numeer arrives and gets his nuke but needs the “item” from Kumar’s package.
Ray plays hard ball with Kumar. Won’t deliver the “item” until Kumar releases the family. Kumar makes him choose wife or son. Ray chooses Scott, but Kumar is a dick and let’s mom go.
It’s amazing Ray found a pay phone, an endangered species.
Mom ends up calling the police. Making Kumar’s and Scott’s life much more complicated.
CTU…
Milo and Morris get all alpha male again over tabs vs. tables. Few things are more pathetic than geeks with too much testosterone. Chloe turns it into all about her.
Mom talks to Jack. Tells her about Kumar, his package, and Fayed.
Jack and Curtis to the rescue. Curtis doesn’t want to take Assad. Too bad, Dr. Bashir is needed.
Oval Office…
Meeting the Ambassador about Assad.
Assad might actually really want peace. Karen wants to join with Assad; Tom doesn’t. Curtis looks constipated.
Sandra talks to Tom. She’ll embarrass the administration if that’s what it takes.
Detention Center…
Walid wants some water. Don’t we all.
Back with Ray in his Volkswagen…
Arrives at terrorist HQ with Kumar’s package. It takes five guys with guns to handle him.
Numeer gets his new toy.
Ray’s now a hostage. Fayed “might” call Kumar about Scott. Will hang out in the safe house.
Fayed tells Kumar to kill Scott.
The first four hours will be on sale tomorrow. I love capitalism even though I’ll wait until the whole season is on sale.

Jack arrives in suburbia…
Kumar tells Scott to kneel down. All that anger over White Castle is pouring out of Kumar. Where’s Harold to bring him down?
CTU bursts in. We learn Kumar is a really bad shot. Kumar isn’t looking too good. No more sliders for Kumar.
Dopehead Scott remembers the address Ray went to.
Detention Center…
Walid and Sandra meet.
Walid thinks the people there have connections to the terrorists.
Jack in suburbia…
Jack has Assad’s agreement with President Wayne all bound and official-looking. Curtis is still pissed.
Scott and mom, together again.
Chloe tells Jack Assad’s men attacked Curtis’ men from Desert Storm. Assad had the men beheaded.
Curtis pulls a gun on Assad. Jack takes Curtis down, then sobs and pukes. I liked Curtis. This show is so unfair. They knock off Curtis but leave Milo. While falling apart emotionally Jack instantly answers the cell phone. Twenty months of Chinese torture can’t take that out of Jack.
“I’m done.” Jack breaks down. No more Superman. How about The Green Lantern?
Kumar dies. The White Castle rage ends.
At terrorist HQ…
A CTU guy used a garrote. That’s so French but still cool.
Gunfight at the terrorist Ok Corral.

After his radiation sunburn the terrorists will feel the rage of Jack Bauer. Twenty more hours of hell.
It’s only four hours old and Jack’s had a bad day.
