Gore’s Movie Nominated for Oscar

AlGore got his Oscar nomination for An Inconvenient Truth. Obviously he’s happy:

“The film … has brought awareness of the climate crisis to people in the United States and all over the world,” Gore said in an e-mail statement. “I am so grateful to the entire team and pleased that the Academy has recognized their work. This film proves that movies really can make a difference.”

I predict AlGore will win simply because the Hollywood judges want him to take the stage and give his acceptance speech bashing President Bush and all things Republican.

I’m just gonna take a shot in the dark and guess that you didn’t watch the movie?

Yeah he barely mentions the guy, and not even by name.

People really should see this movie. Surely the facts are nothing to fear?
