Sen. Sam Brownback Tries to Build Momentum at CPAC

by Sean Hackbarth

Sen. Sam Brownback at CPAC

His intro music was “Eye of the Tiger.” Boo!

Sen. Sam Brownback pushed a flat tax. Yea!

He used two volumes of the tax code as props. Boo!

Wants a BRAC-style method to cut government. Yea!

He described it as a “systems change.” Boo!

He said, “We stand for life.” Yea!

That “applies to the child in Darfur.” (Does that mean we’ll go to war there?) Boo!
