Virginia Tech Gunman was Student

Virginia Tech president Charles Steger said the gunman who killed himself after taking out 32 people in an engineering building was an Asian VT student who lived on campus. Washington Post reporters say they believe he was Korean with his parents living in Northern Virginia.

UPDATE: The mass murderer was Seung Hui Cho, a Korean with permanent residence in the U.S. He may have played a role in recent bomb threats at Virginia Tech. Cho also wrote a suicide note.

Real facts are much better than Debbie Shlussel’s knee-jerk xenophobia.

Oooh, Debbie’s got another racist rant? I want to look, but I don’t think I will: those just rile me up. Then I post on it. Then the Schlussel-bots come by and post racist shit on my site.

Then I swear, and break my own commenting rules (not the swearing–I break the “no personal insults” rule).

Then I have to apologize to those she’s leading down the rosy path to racism, which kind of takes the focus off the real issues. (1-racism is bad; 2-Schlussel is an idiot.)
