Despite my bitching and moaning I’ll be at the Wisconsin Blog Summit II today at Marquette University.

I still haven’t decided if I should walk out on Eugene Kane. He’s never tried to earn my respect, but I am only a white guy.

I’ll drag the computer with me only to quickly upload pictures and occasionally check up on the NFL draft. No live blogging!

Afterwards, I want to eat, drink, and be merry with my old and new friends. The best part about these weblogging gatherings is putting face to weblog and finding out what’s behind the pixels.

SURE you’ll just be checking up on the NFL draft.

I didn’t know that nobody was able to get on. I wonder why the law school folks didn’t do anything about it? They were hosting it after all. I was able to get online, but that’s because I’m a Marquette employee and get online there every day.

They’re law profs and wannabe lawyers. They don’t pay attention to the tech stuff except when it doesn’t work and they really, really need it. I didn’t miss out. If I turned on my computer I would have been distracted by the draft instead of the conversation.
