Redstate Hardball Continues

Redstate’s muscle flexing is on its second day. Erick Erickson has been asking conservatives to call members of the House Republican Steering Committee tell them to get Rep. Ken Calvert off the Appropriations Committee. Yesterday’s target was Rep. John Linder, and today’s is Rep. Kay Granger, “one of those moderates the GOP is always told it needs to win.”
Republican leadership has noticed Redstate’s efforts. Linder brushed off the calls he got because he doesn’t trust anything webloggers have to say. Minority Leader John Boehner admitted Calvert’s appointment was partly because of geographical balance and his office is telling members of the Steering Committee to keep quiet on how they voted on Calvert.
