Allahpundit Confused about WSJ

by Sean Hackbarth

The immigration bill died, so it’s time to get the last few shots in at one another. Allahpundit launched one at a Wall Street Journal reporter for failing to do any reporting about Hot Air (it was later corrected). His mistake was lumping the reporter with the WSJ editorial page that wanted a comprehensive immigration bill passed.

There is a big difference between the WSJ newsroom and the editorial page. They are two separate staffs. There isn’t a more distinctive distance in the entire newspaper industry. The mostly moderate to liberal reporters would probably be insulted to be mixed with the free market conservatives working under Paul Gigot. The editorial page staff would be just as insulted.

Allah was almost as sloppy as the reporter. Let’s not let our passion body check our thinking process.
