#4 is #1; Favre Claims Touchdown Passing Record

Move over Dan Marino. Brett Favre is the king of touchdown passers. His record-breaking 421st touchdown pass went to Gregg Jennings in the first quarter against the Minnesota Vikings. Favre tells everyone he doesn’t care about personal records, but you could see the joy in his face when he hoisted Jennings onto his shoulders. Yes, he broke the record, but it also led to a Green Bay Packers victory.
Unlike Barry Bonds’ tainted home run record you can’t say Favre cheated. He earned it through determination, tremendous talent, guts, and a lot of luck.
Lots of good words have already been said with more to come. I’ll take the simple (and lazy) route: Thanks Brett. You’ve made watching football so much fun.
