The shock and awe is that Fred even bothers to stay in. I guess it would be too embarrassing, and prove what most are saying, if he just bailed now. He’ll stay until S.C. and then endorse McCain. It’s his only remaining hope for relevance.

I too hope Fred Thompson will win the Republican nomination. He’s tied with Huckabee as the least competent and least appealing candidate to mainstream Americans, so a Thompson-Huckabee ticket would be the best recipe to shut the GOP out of the White House for years to come. Go Bible-Bumper Hayseed and Droopy-dog Fred!

As for nervousness, I am anxious about the debates this weekend in New Hampshire. Both parties’ contenders have much to prove and lose in this new & compressed marketplace. Live Free or Die (or both).
That’s right Sean Fred is going to do fine. As many have said on fred08.com – Shock and Awe. It’s about to start.
