Sen. Barack Obama is still an empty suit who if elected President would take the country in a more liberal direction. Yet he’s an interesting, likeable person. Even better, he said some nice things about Ronald Reagan that’s driving left-wing webloggers batty.

Given that the leftist mantra has been/is “EVERYTHING IS BAD”, of course there are those fence-sitters who will seek the optimist in the room.
Obama just isn’t as engaging as Reagan could be (and he doesn’t have Peggy Noonan behind him).
Cause the Conservative philosophies have done wonders for the states… Yeah right!
Obama would definitely take the country in a more liberal direction, but I don’t agree that he is an empty suit. I’m reading his book and he strikes me as very intelligent and thoughtful. He’s just wrong.
