Shocker: John Kerry Doesn’t Admit He’s Terrible

While subbing for Glenn Reynolds Ann Althouse writes:
[Sen. John] Kerry is a man who doesn’t understand that he was a terrible candidate.
Few people understand their terrible at anything. And when they do realize it they don’t often admit it to friends or family let alone a reporter.
We live in a political media age where even admitting to a mistake means you lose the PR war. Either party plus a bloodthirsty press are waiting to sink their teeth into an opponent on a moment’s notice. Add to that the monster egos many politicians have. Thus, they don’t admit to mistakes, ignore them, then move on.
It would have been something had Kerry said, “Remember back in 2004? Boy did I suck!”
