NY Times Outs “Kristen.” Kendall Coffey Bit Strippers
by Sean Hackbarth

Eliot Spitzer’s prostitution problems have dropped out of the news cycle (to be replaced by Geraldine Ferraro and Jerimiah Wright). Will Spitzer be charged with anything? I don’t know. His resignation as New York governor may be enough for prosecutors, but no charges mean Spitzer would have a shot at raising his political career from the dead.
Here are a few tidbits to wind things up on my end:
- The NY Times pretends it’s the National Enquirer (or even the NY Post) and outs “Kristen” [via Hot Air] The newspaper even found her MySpace page which is now cleaned of any mention of her. But The Hollywood Gossip got a chance to poke around Ashley Dupre’s profile. She is a New Jersey native and wannabe singer. That’s a far cry from the Emperor’s Club touting itself a dating service offering “exclusive companions.”
- CNN says it shouldn’t have used Kendall Coffey as a legal analyst on the Spitzer story. Because “in May 1996 after being accused of biting a topless dancer on the arm during a visit to an adult club after losing a big drug case.”

>>Will Spitzer be charged with anything?
I don’t now how federal interstate crime charges can be avoided.
And this is international in scope.
