Heidi Montag Endorses McCain

by Sean Hackbarth

Heidi Montag

In what I declare to be the most vapid endorsement of the Presidential campaign, fake reality tv performer Heidi Montag of The Hills declared she’s a McCain girl:

“I’m voting for John McCain,” she tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

“I’m a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience,” she explains.

What Pratt, 24, warned her about making an endorsement, Montag replied, “I don’t think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for.”

Sen. McCain played it well telling Ana Marie Cox:

I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started.

UPDATE: 236 concludes:

The verdict: Having Heidi on board won’t put McCain in the White House all by itself, but it might send a few more kids to the polls in fancy sports cars their parents bought them.

If I admit that I have absolutely no freakin’ clue who she is, or what The Hills is, does that mean that I am getting old?

Steven, no, it means you have better taste in tv than me.
