Penn Still on Clinton Calls
by Sean Hackbarth
Despite no longer being called the chief strategist Mark Penn is still on Clinton campaign phone calls. Maggie Williams’ rebuke wasn’t much of one. Symbolism over substance: the Clinton way.
Imagine if Sen. Clinton were President suring the Hurricane Katrina disaster. She would have handled the Mike Brown even worse than President Bush. No “heck of a job” would have left her lips, but she would have forced his resignation while keeping him on as a consultant doing the same things.
“Penn: Never Out, Still In”

Sort of like when Bush assured America that he would fire anyone involved in leaking a CIA agent, except when he didn’t (Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, himself, etc.)
