Al Franken

Al Franken’s tax troubles have harmed his chances for beating Sen. Norm Coleman. A SurveyUSA poll gives Coleman a 10-point lead. What’s more interesting is 51% said Franken should drop out of the race.

Once Franken gets the DFL nomination at his party’s state convention in June his numbers should do up with Democrats rallying around his candidacy. In a season that’s not good for Republicans and with his celebrity Franken still has a shot at winning. These numbers do show that early campaign mismanagement in not dealing with those business problems have hampered Franken.
