Can We Ask?

We know Sen. Obama isn’t fond of taking a lot of questions from reporters. Soaring speeches full of warm, fuzzy feelings is his game. Yet he aspires to the Presidency. So the Republican National Committee created CanWeAsk.com to let anyone, even a “bitter” person who “clings” to guns and religion submit a video or text question.

Here are a few questions the RNC offered:

On fiscal responsibility, how he intends to pay for over $660 billion in his new spending proposals and whether he can do it without raising taxes on families and small businesses?

Why he voted against funding for our troops after promising not to use them as pawns in a war funding debate?

Will Obama answer any of them (even the non-loaded ones)? That’s up to him.

What would you ask Obama? I’d ask him how distorting Sen. John McCain’s “100 years” quote fits into his “new politics.”

Make yourselves look pretty, fire up your video cameras, and ask Sen. Obama a question.
