Why Wait? Start the Debate Now

To David Brooks Sen. Obama mentioned “the debate we’re going to be having with John McCain.” Sen. McCain has said similar things about wanting to have a debate. What’s with the future tense? Both are the presumptive Presidential nominees. Start having the debate now. Make these town hall meetings and overflowing stadiums more valuable than providing raw material for webloggers and cable news.
