How Dumb Does Obama Think We Are?

by Sean Hackbarth

John Hindrocker points out some interesting things about Sen. Barack Obama’s statement about Tony Rezko’s conviction:

I’m saddened by today’s verdict. This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew, but now he has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges that once again shine a spotlight on the need for reform. I encourage the General Assembly to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent these kinds of abuses in the future.

Sen. Obama has no clue about the sleazy world of Chicago politics? What, corruption only happened to people like Mayor Daley’s father and convicted Republican governor George Ryan? He didn’t know about Rezko’s poor attempt at low-income housing? I don’t think so.

Once upon a time Obama was an Illinois state senator. Did he do anything to prevent the abuses Rezko was convicted of? Change begins at home.

Obama’s either naive, lying, or most likely, employing his political skills to spin away his relationship with Rezko. The facade of the new political man continues to crumble.

Wait is he saying that Rezko is innocent and the jury system is wrong?

Holy crap!

Of course it’s not the Tony Rezko he know. That Tony Rezko got him a great land deal.

A steal really.
