Media’s General Lack of Respect

About the Fox News “baby mama” brouhaha: it’s an example of the dumbing down of media and a lack of respect towards people like Michelle Obama who are putting themselves in the public eye for a cause they believe in. Take it from Kathryn Jean Lopez:
No, I don’t think Fox was being “straight up racist” with their ridiculous “Obama’s Baby Mama” text. But it was a dumb, disrespectful thing to do — even considering how Mrs. Obama herself has introduced her husband. But then so again was the “trophy wife” treatment of Jeri Thompson.
The MSM is sounding more like E! News (yes, oxymoron), Perez Hilton, and Gawker.
