Amateur Fireworks

Robert Stacy McCain’s story of why he’s down in Alabama to light off fireworks makes me a little jealous that I’ll only get to see the pyrotechnic display on the National Mall. Here’s video from an extravagant (and expensive) show he put on in Maryland a few years ago:

It’s a better finale than the one saw every July 4th in the small Wisconsin town I grew up in.
