1215 Troops Reenlist in Baghdad

by Sean Hackbarth

Bob Krumm reports in one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces “1,215 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines raised their right hands and committed to a combined 5,500 years of additional service during the largest reenlistment ceremony in the history of the American military.”

That’s one heck of a July 4th, and fireworks aren’t needed.

I’m so proud of these brave men and women. May they stay safe and do their jobs well in defense of the country.
