Sarah Palin Never Member of Alaskan Independence Party

by Sean Hackbarth

To those who are trying to claim Gov. Sarah Palin is a wacko hellbent on having Alaska secede from the union note there’s zero, zilch, nada evidence (PDF).

Jonah Goldberg put the situation well:

Again, more shoes could drop. But, as of now, I think this is an example of the quirky and parochial nature of Alaskan politics not translating well — just as I suggested when they first announced the pick — rather than any kind of crackpotism on her part. I wonder, has Obama spoken to any Hawaiian “nationalist” groups?

I think WI should do that, do we have a party for that. At one time, in the 1850’s I believe, that was the central blank of the WI Republican Party.

Well, her husband was, until she ran for governor. And she has offered her support in a number of ways over the years. Maybe not Alaska first, but second or third before country.

Jay, you should open up a phone book and look for the nearest Medical Supply store so that you can buy a crutch for that lameness that you just displayed.

Pathetic, Jay. Simply pathetic. Actual documents can’t get you to stop. Have you joined the Kossacks and lost your soul too?

America would be a better place if Credit Card Biden and Payday Loan Obama would recognize third parties like Gov. Palin did.

Palin, unlike Biden, has not signed a contract with Prez Debate Commission that bans debates that include third parties.

Lets hope McCain and Palin refuse all debates by the Pres. Debate Commission.
