G Stands for Greatness?

Tiki Barber reporting that the “G” in the Green Bay Packers logo stands for “greatness” is too good to be true. Unfortunately I’m not finding any corroborating evidence. There nothing about it on the Packers website and Wikipedia is seeking a citation.
