Duck Hunt #3

There may be some confusion as to why this linkfest is titled "The Duck Hunt" and why I refer to Howard Dean, M.D. as "Howard the Duck" and "Duck, M.D." Back last July, Dean supported sending U.S. troops to Liberia, but opposed the Iraq War. I dubbed him "Howard the Duck" because he was all wet. Today, he still is. So we go from one of the biggest movie bombs of the 1980s (and black mark on George Lucas' film career) to a Nintendo classic. Now, if I could only find my light gun.

• Deacon at Power Line sees Duck, M.D. as vulnerable, but will still get the nomination.
• Even when Duck, M.D. gets the nomination he has a really tall mountain to climb (or is that fly over?). Robert Musil has the numbers, and they don't look good.
• Moxie has a great quip in connection with Duck, M.D.'s God and homosexuality remark. [via ShortDaddy]
• Rosemary links to a Club for Growth calculator so you can find out how much a Dean Presidency would cost you in higher taxes. [via resurrectionsong]
• Steven's post is a few days old (dogs years in the blogosphere), but I don't care. It's good because it provides a possible explanation for Howard the Duck's prickly personality.
